General Information

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

What ages of children do you accept?

We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Is your center licensed?

Yes. We are fully licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).

What curriculum do you follow?

We follow a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes learning through exploration, creativity, and structured play.

Is there a daily schedule?

Yes. Our daily routine includes free play, structured learning, outdoor time, meals, and rest, all tailored to each age group’s needs and abilities.

Staff & Safety

Are your staff certified?

Yes. All staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and have completed training in early childhood development.

Do staff undergo background checks?

Yes. Every team member passes comprehensive background checks prior to employment.

What is your child-to-staff ratio?

We maintain child-to-staff ratios that align with OCFS guidelines to ensure safety and individualized attention.

How do you ensure safety?

We use secure entry systems, adhere to strict health and safety protocols, and have clear emergency procedures in place. Children are always supervised.

Meals & Nutrition

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes. We serve nutritious, warm meals and snacks daily, prepared on-site and in accordance with Department of Health standards.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We do our best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. Please inform us during registration.

Parent Communication & Policies

How do you communicate with parents?

We provide regular updates through daily verbal check-ins, posted notices, and optional digital communications like email or app alerts.

What is your sick policy?

Children who show signs of illness should stay home. If a child becomes ill while in our care, we will contact the parent or guardian immediately.

What is your drop-off/pick-up policy?

Children must be signed in and out each day. Only individuals listed on the authorized pick-up form may take a child home, and photo ID is required.

Do children have a personal space for belongings?

Yes. Each child has a personal cubby in their classroom for storing items like bags, clothing, and other essentials.

Enrollment & Payment

How do I enroll my child?

Begin by scheduling a tour and completing our registration form and enrollment packet.

What are your tuition and fees?

Please contact us directly for the most up-to-date tuition rates and availability.

Do you accept government subsidies?

Yes. We accept most forms of ACS, HRA, and other state-supported child care vouchers.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, and approved government vouchers.
